The Community Prevention Specialist plans, organizes and coordinates substance abuse and violence prevention activities and programs with groups and other agencies. This position requires strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and familiarity with MS Office. Must have a valid NJ driver’s license and properly insured/licensed vehicle, must be able to travel out of state as required and must be able to travel throughout Monmouth County on a daily basis. Must be able to work evenings and occasional weekends. Bachelor’s degree (BA) and three to five years related experience and/or training.
Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) credential required. Will consider a candidate who is actively pursuing CPS credential. Excellent benefits.
