The Healthy Families Program is here to prevent abuse, neglect, and harm to children under 3 years old. This program is for at-risk parents and starts with a complete risk review and a plan of action. Plans usually include direct assistance to parents to help them with positive development for their children, and health, education, and support services to help parents become healthy and positive caregivers and nurturers for their children.
This program is for families that are required to have supervised visits with their children. We want to make sure that all families can maintain regular, quality contact with their children. We also want to make sure that children and their families, guardians or other significant others in their life have a strong plan for reuniting – and enjoy a sense of family identity. The program also includes options for other permanent plans for children if required.
We offer a wide range of services in our overall Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (CMRSS). These services are available and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a child or teen is in crisis, we aim to send social workers or other support personnel immediately to help. This service is an in-home intervention and aims to stabilize and diffuse a crisis for families that request it. This service is not a replacement for police intervention to prevent further violence or a replacement for psychiatric hospitalization. We recommend in case of severe emergencies, call 911.
Our Substance Use Services provide recommendations and referrals designed to help individuals and families make informed decisions about the next step.
Substance Use Services are provided by licensed addiction counselors, licensed social workers, licensed family therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and nurses who collaborate and develop tailored treatment. These are all evidence-based services making sure that everything we do, we do with quality and high standards for better outcomes.
Please note that while appointments can be made at our offices and facilities, we must note that some of these programs are referral-based only and not completely open to the public. Please contact us for any questions or concerns.
Support groups are key to not only social development, but also for lasting therapy and benefits mental health by helping people form bonds with one another. People of all ages can benefit from support groups as well, since children going through some difficult can talk with and get support from other children or adults and the same for adults and teens. Having a group that you can rely on can help a person move through their challenge in a better way. Our support group services are integrated into many programs and offerings, so contact us today for how we can help.
The ability for children – and sometimes all of us – to enjoy play or just running around can have a very positive effect on future living. Creativity is very helpful in every form, whether it’s play, or whether it’s drawing, painting, or creating. Our services for children try to integrate many forms of creativity and play so that participants and clients can develop their social skills, learn to communicate through play, and exercise their minds to enhance their creativity and expression.
Counseling is something that many, if not nearly all, people tend to need at some point in their life. When you’re not sure what to do, when you’re feeling down, or when there may be other things affecting your life in ways that you’d prefer they wouldn’t, our counseling and therapy programs can help you through it. We offer individual services as well as family services because helping individuals can be very different than helping entire families, and both experience unique challenges that may require some professionals to help them through that challenge.

Making sure that caregivers and other professionals provide the best quality care possible can be a challenging task. Support for these services also affects many people in our communities, and affects those who cannot always care for themselves to the level they want to.
